Introduction to Integrations

What are Integrations?

PathFactory offers integrations with a number of external platforms. This gives you the ability to transfer the powerful data around the real consumption of your marketing from your PathFactory instance to any other platforms you store, use, or analyze lead data.

Why use Integrations?

Integrations allow you to export the consumption data collected by PathFactory to other platforms you use. This means you can consolidate PathFactory’s detailed visitor data into other record systems like your MAP, CRM, and BI tools to have one accurate view of your visitors.

Examples of how to utilize PathFactory Integrations

  • Trigger program responses in your MAP and CRM. Instead of triggering a response when a form is completed or an email is clicked, trigger a response when someone spends over a minimum time threshold per asset.
  • Incorporate the data on the real consumption of your content into your lead scoring model or lead qualification program in your Marketing Automation Platform
  • Nurture leads more efficiently by allowing them to binge ahead to content later in the nurture sequence. Pass the data on that consumption back into Marketing Automation to skip content already consumed and use “pick-up” logic to send the correct next email in the nurture sequence.
  • Segment leads in Marketing Automation or CRM based on the topics of the content they consumed.
  • Get actionable data about how contacts are consuming your content into the hands of your sales team, directly inside your CRM.

MAP Integrations

PathFactory offers integrations with all major MAPs, including Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, and Hubspot. In addition, PathFactory data can be integrated to many other platforms not explicitly listed using Webhooks.

Note

These integrations allow you to set up automated data transfers from PathFactory to your MAP. Data gathered from known contacts can then be stored in the MAP’s contact records.

Note
Visitor data will only be sent to MAPs for known visitors. This is because the primary data object in MAPs are contacts, and PathFactory data sent to a MAP is stored in the associated contact record. Data from unknown visitors would have nowhere to live in your MAP.

Examples of data you can send to your MAP:

  • Visitor Session Data: Receive data every time a known contact engages with a content track; over 40 data points are available such as session time, numbers of assets viewed, and content journey.
  • Visitor Activity Data: Receive data every time a known contact meets a defined engagement threshold, such as viewing a certain number of content assets, viewing a specific content asset, or viewing any content for a certain period of time.

CRM Integrations

PathFactory for Sales is an integration offered by PathFactory which allows you to provide actionable data directly to your sales team or anyone who uses your CRM.

Once this integration is set up, your CRM users can view their top accounts and top contacts based on time spent viewing your content. Users can also view time spent on content for specific leads, contacts, accounts, or opportunities.

This integration is currently available for Salesforce.

How does this work?

  1. Add the script for this integration to your CRM’s lead, account, opportunity, and contact pages.
  2. PathFactory data will display as a visualforce page on the relevant lead, account, opportunity, and contact records.
  3. You can also add a dashboard which displays only a sales rep’s owned accounts, prioritized by time spent on content, giving them instant insight into what content their contacts are consuming, and allowing them to have more targeted conversations with these contacts.

Examples of data you can send to your CRM:

  • Top Contacts: Which of your contacts are spending the most time with your content?
  • Top Accounts: Which of your accounts are spending the most time with your content?
  • Top Content: Which content assets are specific contacts or accounts viewing the most?

Single Sign On

Improve corporate security and user experience by setting up your PathFactory instance with Single Sign On capabilities.

Note
Single Sign On currently supports G Suite, OneLogin, and Okta as Identity Providers. We also provide the option of a generic SAML 2.0 configuration for clients using other standard SAML 2.0 Identity Providers.

Demandbase

If your organization has a Demandbase account and has licensed the Engagement module in your subscription, you are able to integrate with PathFactory to bring account data from Demandbase into your PathFactory instance.
