How do I Connect PathFactory and Demandbase?

If you have a Demandbase account and have licensed the Engagement module in your subscription, you are able to integrate your Demandbase data with your PathFactory instance.

Demandbase data will be included in the following areas of your PathFactory instance:

  • Account Based Analytics (This is a paid feature; contact Support or your CSM for more information on accessing this feature)
  • Path Analytics
  • PathFactory for Revenue Intelligence – Mutual customers of Demandbase and PathFactory that use Demandbase’s account matching logic across other areas of PathFactory will now also be able to leverage it within PathFactory for Revenue Intelligence (PFRI). This means that any time a visitor (that isn’t already a Salesforce contact) is associated with an Account in PFRI, it will be done through Demandbase’s logic vs. our OEM account matching solution.

What are the benefits of integrating your Demandbase and PathFactory accounts?

  • Incorporate account and audience data from Demandbase for a more complete view of account engagement
  • Utilize your Demandbase data to do Account Based Marketing in PathFactory
    • For example, you can use attributes from your Demandbase data to build audience segments in PathFactory, and route these audiences to personalized Content Tracks

Step 1: Request Demandbase API Key

Contact support@demandbase.com and ask them to either create a new API key or update your existing key.

Important! They must make sure that the Bypass query parameters for IPs toggle is set to Off (it is on by default).

Step 2: Give your CSM the API Key

Once Demandbase has provided the API key and has confirmed that the required setting has been changed, contact your CSM.

Your CSM will then add the Demandbase API key to your PathFactory instance.

Your Demandbase data will be included in PathFactory from the time this integration is set up, and will not be applied retroactively to your PathFactory data.
