We have added functionality to let you:
- Easily upload and update assets from Aprimo DAM within your PathFactory instance.
- Adjust the language for CTAs.
- Find content in the Content Library using new Primary and Secondary filter combinations.
New! Aprimo integration
We have created a new, easy-to-use process to import assets from the Aprimo digital asset management system (DAM) into the PathFactory Content Library. Now you can import your Aprimo assets to the PathFactory Content Library while retaining the tagging you had set up in Aprimo. To do this, you must map your Aprimo asset fields to PathFactory content fields.
This implementation helps reduce workflow redundancies by keeping the Aprimo assets synched with the PathFactory Content Library. After you have mapped your Aprimo fields with PathFactory fields and successfully imported the assets into the content library, you can then update any of your assets in Aprimo without worrying about re-adding the tags to your asset or re-adding the asset to a content track.
You can find detailed instructions on how to use this process to connect with Aprimo DAM in a separate document here.
New! Language options for CTAs
We have added the ability to localize the CTA labels, by providing a variety of languages to choose from. This feature is very useful for international organizations that want to create content in languages other than English. You can now set up the text to display on your CTAs in the language of your choice.
Note: To modify or add a CTA, follow these steps instead.
To use this feature, follow these steps.
- On the main menu, click the gear icon on the top right. Then select Languages.
- On the screen that appears, select the CTAs tab.
- Scroll down to find the CTA you want to localize by using a language other than English.
- On the left panel, select the language you want to populate the CTA.
- In the CTA label field, enter the text you want to display for that language.
Note: PathFactory does not translate the text. You must manually enter the correct translation.
- When you are finished, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save CTAs Settings. You will see a confirmation message of a successful save.
- Open your Recommend or Target track, or Virtual Event Session.
- On the left panel you can configure your CTAs as usual. In the example below, we are configuring CTA 2 with the button label “Click here for Demo”.
- On the left panel, select Language. In the popup menu that appears, select the language you want to display on the CTA.
Note: If no translation has been defined for the CTA button label in languages, the CTA will show the label as defined in the CTA library. This means the CTA label would display the default language, which is English.
- Now you can select the CTA label language. On the left panel, in the Promote section, select the CTA you wish to edit. In the popup menu, select the language you want. In the example below, you see the CTA 2 label has been overridden with French language label, to read “Cliquez ici”.
- Load the preview for the track or session to ensure the correct CTA(s) is displayed.
Note: You may add an override to a CTA label if you want to add a custom message. In that case, the override would be displayed, not the language label.
In the examples below, for the French CTA label on the right we added Lisez Maintenant. Compare it to the English CTA label on the left.
Improved filter combinations for the Content Library
Previously, to sort through your content library, you could combine the Primary filters with each other, but could not combine the Primary filters with the Secondary filters. This was an issue if you wanted to filter out expired or expiring content to understand what categories it falls under, especially for organizations with thousands of content assets. Now, when you select filters from the Primary types, the Secondary filters update accordingly to provide specific options based on the Primary filters you chose.
For example, you can now use the “Expired” Secondary filter in combination with Primary filters such as Language, Topic, and Product, to get a list of assets that match all of those attributes.
See the screen capture below for an example of the Secondary filters that have been updated based on the Primary filter that was applied. You can see in the Secondary filters, the numbers and percentages have changed from their original amounts.
You may use any combination of the following filters.
Primary filters | added by language topic content type product solution funnel stage business unit persona industry estimated cost |
Secondary filters | content in library in content track not in the content track new expiring expired |
