2022 Release Notes: Release I

We want to help you do more with the tools you have, so we have increased the features available for customizing and analyzing your organization’s content.

With this release we are providing better flexibility within Analytics, more assistance with managing your content using AI-generated Smart tags, a new Related Topics tab to see how your content is connected, and increased customization on the Topics page. In our quest to provide more customization and control over your analytics, we have added more options within Campaign Tools so you can designate which analytics are relevant and visible. Plus, we heard your requests to simplify the login and password reset processes, and have updated the interface and functionality accordingly.

Core Platform

Improved PathFactory login page

We have updated the PathFactory login page with elements of our branding refresh and self-service password reset feature that simplifies account recovery.

Increased control over Campaign Tools Analytics components

Prior to this release, access to the analytics found within the Campaign Tools menu was set at an all or nothing level. Now, organization administrators have increased control over what subset of these analytics users should get access to. Admins can select between Target, Recommend, Explore, Microsite and Website Campaigns analytics (or a combination), to ensure their team members see only what is relevant to them and their workflows.

To configure these new, more granular Campaign Tools Analytics permissions as an Administrator, follow these steps:

  1. From the top-navigation menu, select Signed in as [Your Name]  >  User Management.
  2. Next, click on User Roles  >  Analytics Permissions.
  3. Below Campaign Tools, expand Legacy Analytics. Here you may set up appropriate access permissions.

Content Intelligence – For Website Tools

New content organization using Smart tags

With the introduction of our new AI-generated Smart tags, you can organize content assets quickly and efficiently allowing for improved searching and grouping.  You also have the flexibility to define your own tags to compliment the AI recommended Smart tags.

  1. Alternatively, you may add tags manually by clicking the Add Tag button.  At the prompt, type in the tag within the search field to select or add a new tag field.
  1. These manually added Tags display within the User Tags section, so that you may add or remove them from the content asset.

We have introduced a new Related Topics tab within the topic details page that lets you see how a particular topic is related to other similar topics within its content.

  1. From the top-navigation menu, select Content Intelligence  >  Website Content Library.
  2. Click Topics (shown below) and then click the View Topics button.

.

Improved Topics page

The Topics page now provides an improved view and sorting of topic cards. Each topic card displayed on the Topics page contains an overall topic rank and score that can be compared against other topics.  Topics are collectively sorted by overall topic rank (high to low).

To view the Topics page, follow these steps:

  1. From the top-navigation menu, select Content Intelligence  >  Website Content Library.
  2. In the pop-up menu, select Topics.

AI-generated topics from your content sources display as a card in the Topics area.  Each topic card contains a topic rank and score, and are collectively sorted by its topic rank (high to low).

As always, we are here to help you make the most of your PathFactory investment! We hope you like these new features as much as we do, and of course we are always available to help you learn how to leverage these features within your organization.
