PFRI Content Sharing: Marketer Setup Guide

How to enable sellers to share content from Salesforce or PFRI

This article explains how to configure PathFactory for Revenue Intelligence (PFRI) so sellers can share curated content and personalized landing pages directly with prospects from Salesforce or within PFRI.

For a demo of this workflow, refer to this video:

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have administrator access in PathFactory
  • Coordinate with RevOps to surface the PFRI view on the appropriate object records (account, opportunity, and/or contact)
  • Confirm seller users have the Revenue Team role type in PathFactory

Step 1: Enable Templated Experiences for Sellers

Sellers build deal follow-up pages using Templated Experiences that you designate for PFRI.

  1. In PathFactory, go to Revenue Intelligence → Settings
  2. Under Templated Experiences, choose which ones sellers can access through Build a Landing Page

Recommendation
Enable as few as necessary to reduce choice and accelerate seller action.

For more information on configuring Templated Experiences, refer to:
Templated Experiences: A Complete Guide

Configure the Templated Experience for PFRI

Open each enabled Templated Experience and verify:

Content entry point

  • A Content List or Content Carousel section is present
  • That section is set as the auto-land point for sellers

This ensures sellers immediately start where they add content.

  • A Smart Collection is set as the featured content source
    This powers:
    • Easy content insertion for sellers
    • AI Content Recommendations for buyers (optional)

For more information on Smart Collections, refer to:
Managing Smart Collections

Editable elements

Allow personalization only where relevant:

  • Short note or follow-up message
  • Seller name, title, headshot, contact info
  • Content selection and ordering

Lock all brand-controlled elements (header, hero, CTAs, testimonials)

Metadata & SEO settings

Under Details and Landing Page Settings:

  • Confirm page title, URL slug, and meta description
  • Confirm correct Theme
  • Recommended: For sales follow-up pages set no-index / no-follow

Save changes.

Step 2: Configure “Share Marketing Content” Playlists

This powers quick sharing of curated assets for early-stage engagement.

  1. In PFRI Settings, click Add Playlist
  2. Choose up to 10 playlists aligned to how sellers speak
    (e.g., product, industry, use case)
  3. Avoid required forms unless capturing new leads

For more information on building Content Playlists, refer to:
Configuring Content Playlists

Step 3: Enable Private Content (Optional)

Allow sellers to upload and share deal-specific content including:

  • Call recordings
  • Slide decks
  • Pricing documentation
  • Security attachments

Private content is kept separate from the marketing library and respects compliance permissions.

Step 4: Set a Default Email Tracking Provider

To ensure consistent tracking:

  1. In Email Tracking settings, select a single default (for example Salesloft or Outreach)

Sellers will not need to select a tracking provider during share.

Step 5: Confirm PFRI Access in Salesforce

Work with RevOps to ensure:

  • The PFRI view is added to:
    • Account layouts
    • Opportunity layouts
    • Contact layouts
  • Seller profiles have the Revenue role type in PathFactory

This unlocks the Share Content workflows in Salesforce.
