We got some great new features in this release (F). Take a look and dive in. And, in the meantime, we have some massive product news happening next month or so. We’re excited and know you will be too.

Content Intelligence

NEW

Enhanced content insights with the new Quality Health view

The new Quality Health view provides detailed insights into potential gaps in compliance at a content level and enables you to take action to improve your content discovery. This new functionality takes all the great insights that have been provided at an aggregate level and brings them into the content specific lense so you can understand the readability score, reading metrics, SEO compliance details, and accessibility compliance details in one single view for each asset. Now you can understand content compliance and discoverability for each asset and see how that rolls up to the bigger picture.

To access the new Quality Health view, follow these steps:

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Content Intelligence > Website Content Library
  • Next, select a content asset from the list provided
content-select
  • From the right modal, scroll down and click on the 360 view button

Campaign Tools

IMPROVED

Add additional external IDs (Target, Recommend, Microsite)

A lot of PathFactory customers utilize the External ID field in the platform as an open field to tag assets or tracks to be tracked in external systems. To increase tracking among a number of platforms, our customers have requested additional external fields. Now you have the option to use three open text fields – External ID 1, 2 & 3. This will make it easier to do things like route leads generated from form submissions to the proper Business Development teams and provide credit to the original traffic driver when a lead is generated in PathFactory. This improvement provides increased visibility into the impact PathFactory has had on generating leads.

To add additional external IDs to Target, follow these steps:

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Campaign Tools > Track
  • Next, select a target track from the list provided
  • On the left navigation pane under Track Settings, click on the + Add External ID to add a total of three (3) external IDs

Update Exit Promoter visited label

You will now be able to update the Visited label to a different label title or in a different language depending on the campaign region in the exit promoter. This is useful when you are sharing your campaigns with customers in different countries and want to align with their language. This is also beneficial if you have business units in different regions and want to provide them with the ability to configure fields to suit their language needs.

To update the visited label, follow these steps:

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Settings (gear icon) > User Experience > Languages
  • Next, select Campaign Tools > Sidebar from the secondary navigation

  • Type in the desired text within the Visited Label field and click the Save Sidebar Settings button

Note: A dynamic preview of the new text can be seen to the left of the Visited Label field.

Core Platform

IMPROVED

Pass Form Name value as a field merge

Previously, populating a form name as a field merger was not supported and each form name needed to be hardcoded on creation as well as when cloning. You can now pass the form name for custom forms as a hidden field and the name will dynamically get populated when the form is submitted. This can be helpful if you have a number of different front end forms, but the back end form destination is the same. Passing through the form name dynamically can give you insight on which front end form was submitted.

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Platform Settings > Organization Settings
  • Select already created Custom forms or “Add Forms” with Form type as Custom > Custom HTML > enter {{form.name}}

Global Sitemap now only reflects indexed pages

In previous PathFactory versions, the automatically-generated sitemap URL available included non-indexable pages. Listing non-indexable URLs in the sitemap impacts each site’s Google crawl budget as Google only spends a certain amount of time crawling each site. Thus if Google is unable to crawl all the pages then that could prevent a page from the sitemap from getting indexed in a timely fashion. To address this and to align with best practices, Sitemap will now only include indexed pages.

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Signed in as [Your Name] > Organization Settings
  • Next, select More > Search Engine Optimization > Global sitemap from the tab menu

VEX

IMPROVED

Add additional external IDs (VEX)

Previously, there was only one External ID open text field that could be utilized for tracking content and events in external systems. We have added two additional open text fields to offer more flexibility and improve tracking.

To add additional external IDs to VEX, follow these steps:

  • From the top-navigation menu, select Virtual Events > Track
  • Next, select a virtual event from the list provided
  • From the Event Setup tab, scroll down to the External ID1External ID2 and External ID3 fields to update as needed
