This article answers many common questions about using folders to organize storage of tracks.
How many tracks can be in a single folder?
As many as you want! There is no limit.
Is there a limit to how many subfolders I can make?
No, there is no limit.
How do I move content tracks from one folder to another?
Open the folder with content tracks you want to move. Select all desired tracks (hold down either command/control or shift to multi-select), and then drag and drop them into another folder. You can also drop content tracks into the root folder.
Can I keep the same content track in more than one folder?
No, content tracks can only live in one folder. However, you can use labels to tag related content tracks, then use the Label filter to show all content tracks with a given label.
I preferred the old card view of content tracks; can I go back to that view?
Yes! Simply navigate to either Target Tracks, Recommend Tracks, or Explore Pages, then click the card icon in the top right.
Can I have both Target and Recommend content tracks in the same folder?
No. Folders can only contain either Target Tracks, Recommend Tracks, or Explore pages.
What are the numbers beside the folder names?
The numbers beside each folder represent how many content tracks are in that folder.
- When a folder is collapsed, it will show the total number of content tracks within that folder and all folders nested within it.
- When a folder is expanded, it will only show the number of content tracks within that folder. All folders nested within it will then display how many content tracks are within each subfolder.
