Use CSV upload for access protection

When adding more than 25 emails or domains to access protection, we recommend using CSV upload.

Email addresses and domains must be added to separate CSV files. You cannot add them in the same file. We’ve prepared two CSV templates for you.

Download CSV template

We’re prepared two CSV templates for your convenience, one for uploading individual email addresses and one for email domains.

  1. Navigate to gear Gear > Access Protection.
  2. Select Add Domain or Add Email Address, whichever you need.
  3. Select CSV Upload.
  4. Select CSV Upload template to download the file. Once the download is complete, open the template.

Prepare the CSV file for email addresses

In the visitor_emails file, enter all email addresses in column A. Put each address in its own cell. Ensure each address has proper spelling. When you’re done, save the file.

Return to PathFactory and upload the file.

Prepare the CSV file for domains

In the email_domains file, enter all email domains in column A. Put each domain in its own cell. Ensure each domain has proper spelling. When you’re done, save the file.

Return to PathFactory and upload the file.

Upload the completed CSV template

After completing the CSV template, you must now add it to PathFactory so the domains or addresses can be uploaded.

  1. Return to the Access Protection section of PatFactory.
  2. Select Add Domain or Add Email Address, whichever you’re adding.
  3. Select CSV Upload.
  4. Select Choose File. Use your computer’s file navigator to select the completed CSV template.
  5. Select Upload File.

Depending on how many domains or addresses you added, it can take some time for the job to complete.
